2010 Race For The Cure
Breast cancer has affected countless families. We have always been committed to three families - our patient family, our work family, and our personal families. This is no exception.
Our work family honors the 12 patient families who have been directly impacted by this disease. Today, some count themselves as survivors while others are still battling through treatment. We admire them all, their families, and those who love, treat and support them each day.
As part of our committment to them, please join our team in support of "Our 12" as well as the countless other women who have been affected by this disease.

Dental Access Days • April 29 & 30, 2010

On April 29, 2010 Dr. Chincheck and one of her assistants, Carrie Kelly, were honored to donate their time and services by participating in "Dental Access Days" at the University of Maryland Dental School.
Dr. Chincheck has always believed in giving back to the community. In fact, one of the tenets of the The Pankey Institute, where she is visiting faculty, is that of giving back to society. “Dental Access Days” gave both her and Carrie this opportunity.
The Pankey Institute and a grant from the Helping Up Mission sponsored “Dental Access Days” where over 150 men received dental services. Side-by-side with other dental students, dental hygiene students and local dentists, Dr. Chincheck and Carrie were able to supervise, perform, and assist in a variety of dental procedures, including much-needed cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Both felt it was incredibly rewarding to give “the gift of dental health” to men who were working hard to improve their lives, both spiritually and physically.
Dr. Chincheck said of her participation: “This was truly an enjoyable experience because of the overwhelming gratitude of all of the people we provided care for. What a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a project that made such a difference in the lives of the needy. I can't wait to participate next year!”
